3: DO A REVERSE BID* (THE LOWEST SINGLE BID WINS)
To bid, you must have credits loaded to your account. Credits can be purchased (starting as low as €15 for 1,500 credits) or donated (through promotional codes or bonuses).
Start « reverse bidding » on your next vacation (or vacationS as there are no limits to the number of packages you can bid on). Bids starts as low as 100 credits and can go as high as 200 credits. In average, with €15, you are able to bid between 7 and 15 times on one or many auctions. Imagine winning a trip to Bora Bora for €15 ?
When making a bid, our system will give you an indication on the number of bids for the 10 lowest ones and the 10 highest. This will help you increase your chances to be the single lowest bidder.
Auctioned vacations have TWO main aspects : The destination and the amount you are bidding on. The amount of the auction DOES NOT determine the amount of the bid. In fact, oftens bids are in pennies and auctioned items valued at thousands.
Watch the auction (normally 7-day long) and bid as often as you would like. The one with the lowest SINGLE bid wins ! (keyword is single. There must be only one bid on the lowest amount for that amount to be the winning bid)

4: GO ON YOUR DREAM VACATION
After winning the bid, you will be able to see the winning auction on your account. From there, you will have the option to select from a number of exclusive travel partners which in turn offer tens of various travel packages to the destination you have won.
Pick a trip for yourself, or give it away to a loved one, relative or friend.
Once you have selected the vacation package of your choice, we will send the amount you have won at the auction directly to the travel operator. A receipt of funds will be sent to you. If the selected package is more expensive, you may purchase additional credits through us. Once the transaction between you and the travel operator has been initiated, BID-DREAM does not assume further responsibilty for travel related negotiations and business. All travel partners have been carefully selected and have gone through thorough and extensive business backgrounds checks.
The system of reverse auction is not a system based on the chance. It results from a strategy making it possible the bidder to be able as well as possible to position in order to gain the bidding. For that there exist two ways of raising.
- The simple bidding: who allows to position only one bidding and to allow to see or its position is.
- The multiple bidding: who allows to send a multiplicity of biddings, in order to increase the chances to gain in the last moments, or to position in advance on a beach of bidding which can with final being found single and lower.
- The step: allows the bidder to define the step between each bidding. it is located at low at 0.01€ (bidding all 0.01€) at 1€ (bidding all 1€).
Example:
- a person makes a multiple bidding from 1 to 10 with a step with 0.01, the received orders will be:
0.01€-0.02€-0.03€-0.04€-0.05€-0.06€-0.07€-0.08€-0.09€-0.10€
The same example with a step with 0.02:
0.01€-0.03€-0.05€-0.07€-0.09€
There is no limitation on the number, only restriction, the number of appropriations available on the account.
After each validation of bidding, a graph makes it possible to inform the position.
Each single bidding is posted among 20 values (10 values before, your position and 9 values afterwards)
For the multiple biddings, beyond 20 biddings, only 20 lower are posted and the lowest position is taken in reference.
Between 10 and 20 values, all the positions are posted in the lowest zone and are supplemented up to 20 by the following ones.
Between 1 and 10 values, they all are posted and supplemented by the values already present and higher.
